The Book Donation Connection is a non-profit organization that rescues gently used, unwanted books in the New York Tri-State Area and distributes them to public service and nonprofit agencies in need of these resources.

In active operation since October 2009, the BDC partners with libraries and individuals to rescue and disburse books and media to shelters, family crisis centers, head start programs, hospitals, and schools.

Thousands of usable books, headed for landfills, have been put into the hands of readers.
